Frustration to Cessation
Journeys are taken with Many fences crossed. Paths become betwixt & Hearts pulse with more conflict. Pain after pain After ever-growing strain Fills us with unending groans. It seems it all has shifted. But isn't it a bit peculiar How & when the oft-ignored Objects of our past affections Dredge up the Lost & never-to-be-found? Our hopes & our fears & All of our dreams ever-so-dear Hold our thoughts captive But, as never before, We feel so safe & sound. APN Copyright, 01/21/2007 After working part- & full-time for an independent Christian bookstore for 6 years, Adam P. Newton feels like he has a pretty decent grasp upon just how weird the Christian sub-culture has been and still is. There’s not too much he hasn't read, listened to, or seen in all things "Christian", especially in terms of what kinds of products get Christians excited – whether to start buying or start boycotting. And if you'd ever want to know the details of what working in a Christian bookstore is really like, just ask him (but don't ask to purchase a Precious Moments(r) doll – he'd have to hurt you).
