Your Heart Is All I Need Mind, soul a blank. Jesus, your heart is all I need. Without you I’m empty.
Heart-heavy for my own state, and for that state writ large in peoples and nations.
Wilderness. Acting, living out of lies.
May those lies die in the wilderness drought.
May I live out of the Truth living in me, drawing me to The Way, drawing from the well-springs of Him who is loving-kindness. Flowers blossom, fruit ripen by the living streams. There is healing.
Still these storms in the desert, O my soul’s only True Lover and Beloved. Clasp me to you. May my heart beat in time with yours. Live in me, I in you, as we share in the eternal dance.
It’s my Daddy’s joy to hold me close, imprisoning me in Ecstatic Freedom, breathing Life into me, dispelling Dark Lies with his Irresistible Truth and Light.
He sings sweet harmonies over my soul, negating the jarring sounds within me.
The aroma of Life and Hope drives out the fetid odours of Death and Despair.
May all that is Good drive down deep roots in me, cleansing my soul-soil and transforming the decay of the Unreal into the succulent, sustaining fruit of the Real.
Life, Hope, Grace, Uncloying Sweetness, Deepest Security. Only in the Dancing Eyes of Love Himself.
